About the Role
We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to grow our client base for Mera Accountant. The role involves identifying potential customers, explaining our accounting solutions, and closing deals with small businesses, startups, and professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new sales leads through calls, referrals, field visits, and online channels
- Pitch Mera Accountant’s services/products to SMEs, startups, and professionals
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable accounting solutions
- Conduct product demos and follow-ups with prospects
- Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
- Maintain CRM records and update lead status regularly
- Build long-term relationships with clients for repeat business
- Coordinate with onboarding and support teams for smooth client experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred)
- 1–4 years of experience in sales (SaaS, accounting, fintech, or services is a plus)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and client meetings
- Basic understanding of accounting, GST, or compliance (preferred, not mandatory)
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented
- Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Excel is an advantage
